Hats, scarves, & gloves for United Electric
United Electric went back to collecting hats, scarves, & gloves for Christmas this year. Last year they collected ornaments, but I didn't know so I still took hats, etc. This year I saw some fun gloves at JoAnn's that were different colors and thought they were cute, so I made hats to match. Then added the knitted scarves I've made and took them over. I like doing it.

Nevada City, MT
Again, I'm back in Montana towards the end of October. We loved this trip and I took a ton of photos. I thought it was way cool here though, because they have about 90 old log homes and buildings that they have moved from different locations where they were rotting away, and they are now all together in Nevada City where people can enjoy seeing them, and they are being taken care of and restored where possible. I see so many cool old homesteads, and five years later you go back and they have collapsed or the cattle have knocked them down and ruined them. This is really worth going to see.

Montana mountain and mountain sheep
I love the drive through Montana with all the mountains and was so surprised when we drove right along some mountain sheep grazing so close we could have reached out and touched them. Of course, we didn't want to disturb them so we kept our distance and I used my zoom lens to get some pretty good photos of them. It was awesome.

Frame for Christmas gift
Made this at the family Pinterest Party and loved it. I printed a photo of Tayler and Kaylin and clipped to it for a gift for Tayler. The one I made at the retreat had the same photo clipped to it, and it was for Kaylin.
Frozen meal exchange
Aunt Leslie's Jambayla....yummy. I'm really enjoying the frozen meal exchange that Braquel started. So far everything has been excellent.

Thanksgiving dinner at school with Ellie
We went to Albion the week before Thanksgiving to have dinner with Ellie. The school was fixing a turkey dinner, but the power went off in Albion that morning, so they weren't sure if there would be lunch or not. They did manage to serve everything but the hot rolls. They had mashed potatoes with turkey gravy and meat over them, fruit salad, dressing, green beans...it was actually very good. I hardly recognized Ellie in her Indian headdress though. When we went up to go through the line, they had chocolate milk and plain milk. Ellie and I each took a chocolate milk, and Jeff took a plain. Ellie whispered to me..."why would anyone just take white milk?" I had to agree.
The other things we got a kick out of was how Ellie ate so well. She even went back for seconds on the potatoes and gravy. Then she said I could stay for recess with her. I told her I thought I was sort of big to play on the playground toys, and she thought I would fit on the swings for sure! We loved spending the time with her, and was sort of glad Danelle had to work!

December exchange card #3
Layer it up...and I did. This paper is shiny and foil covered, so it turned out pretty. I really like it.

December exchange card #2
Again...the theme was layer it up, and I thought this clever way of making a "quilt" style block from paper was pretty clever. It's actually squares, and you just layer them so they look like a pinwheel block. Loved the colors of this card also.

December exchange card #1
The theme for our December exchange was "layer it up" and I saw this little dresser style card and thought it was so cute. When you open it, the bottom part pulls out and it's a step style card. I loved how it turned out.
