Christmas table runners

It seems like I made about twenty of these....every time I thought I was done, someone else would want one, or I'd decide to gift to someone else.  It was a actually to use up some of those "extra" white strips I had made my queen size quilt with...LOL.

Tori's quilt

I decided to give Tori a quilt for Christmas.  She is always asking when she's going to get one, so I decided it was about time...She acted tickled with it, and even said she uses it!

Beautiful Sunsets

We always have some of the most beautiful sunsets here in southern Idaho, but I love every one of them.  I never get tired of seeing them.

Plaid donation quilt

This was all done in plaids...leftovers from dish towels, clothes, a tablecloth...etc.  For a scrap quilt, it actually wasn't so bad.  A lot better than I thought it might turn out.  LOL...It's on the quilting machine in the photo.

Snow, Snow, and more Snow

I can not remember a year that we had this much snow forever.  It seems like all we did was move snow.  It got so heavy on our roof that we had to make something to pull it off.  We ended up using a paint extension pole with a hoe taped to the end.  Then we had so much snow on the west side of our house that we worried about it melting and running into our basement windows.  Larry came down with their Michigan and moved a lot of it, and then I shoveled and Jeff used the 4-wheeler to try and finish up.  When it did start melting...we still got it in our basement windows.  We ran to town and were lucky enough to get a sump pump and some pipe to try and move it out and down to the pasture.  What a mess!  And then we take care of Ken & Viki's home while they are in AZ, so we had double duty.  It was a long winter.  Then, just when we're ready to leave for AZ....Vern & Reta start getting water in their basement.  Thank heavens their ward helped them...or I should say "helped us".  We drove out and went through about seven lakes...one Jeff even got out and walked through to make sure the road was still there.  What a year...Needless to say, we didn't make Arizona!

Danelle's quilt

Danelle made this quilt, and I got the privilege of quilting it.  Loved how it turned out.

Treven's Seattle Seahawks quilt

When we were shopping in Boise, we found some minky for the Seattle Seahawks.  Treven claims this team, so I purchased that and the minky for the back.  Quilted them...made it long...and Treven seemed to love it.

Camping quilts for Mikayla and Lindsay

This was a string quilt that I made for Lindsay and Pepe for Christmas.  When I gave them the hand quilted one for their wedding, Pepe wanted to put it out in the trailer.  Lindsay proceeded to tell him it was "hand quilted"  an "heirloom"...you didn't put it in a trailer.  So for Christmas I made one they can use in their trailer.

Same principal...string quilt.  This one was for Mikayla and Juan.  Again...for everyday use.

John Deere Quilt

This was the quilt I made for our neighbor.  Evidently, she received a quilt like it (only in pink) when she graduated from high school, but Jesse liked to use it.  Mainly because he's fairly tall and whoever made her the quilt had made it quite long.  She wanted one made just like it.  So, I made it.  It was fleece on the front and minky on the back.  I then quilted it.  It turned out very nice and she loved it.  Hope he did too...I never did hear what his reaction was.

Frozen Quilts

I made two of these quilts.  One for my neighbor's little daughter, and one for Kierra for Christmas.  I made the neighbor a quilt for her husband, and she paid me, so I made her daughter this small quilt.  When I delivered it, she was so excited.  Her father told me later that she liked to take it and snuggle in her tepee and watch movies.
