Yuma

Mark took us to California to visit the farm that he manages.  I believe he said it's 2500 acres.  It was beautiful.  No weeds and they grow so many different types of veggies.  I had never seen gold beets before.  They grow cilantro, beets, carrots, broccoli, all types of lettuces, too many to even remember.
There was a navy base there, and the blue angels were practicing so we got to see that.

We ate at an outdoor taco stand one night, and then went for ice cream afterwards.  We so enjoyed our stay with them.

On Friday morning, Jeff and I went out and played a little golf.  It was just beautiful.  The navy was practicing their touch and go's, and we got to watch that for awhile also.
It was sad too, though.  Danelle called to tell me that Gary's sister Shannon, had passed away while we were golfing.
