Leaving Yuma and heading home
We left Yuma and 80 degree weather, and headed north to the Grand Canyon...and 24 degree weather and 14 inches of snow...and fog...and ice. It was crazy.
In Sedona, we started running into rain and flash flooding. The water was just running down through canyons and off the top of the mountains. We saw at least a couple of bridges that the water had covered. And tons of water falls from the rain. We'll probably never witness that again. It was beautiful in ways.
In Monument Valley, they had closed the schools due to the snow. We couldn't believe how fast the weather had changed. It was an awesome trip.
