Photos from my birthday party

The kids were all grossed out seeing a whole pig. Braden came and told me...There's a pig out there, and his eyes are all squinty, and his nose sticks out, and his ears stand up...
Danelle decorated the tables. It look almost like we were having a beach party with the bright colors.

Mom made the hot rolls...she always does a fantastic job of that.

Mikayla and Lindsay are such beautiful girls. Lindsay is in baseball tournaments right now, and they are at least going to come in second...they have been playing great.

This is just a few of the many pictures that Danelle burned to a cd for me. Her pictures are great, and it makes me want to get a new camera even more. I've been wanting one for a couple years now, and seeing the photos that Robin takes, and these from Danelle...gonna have to do it. I have such a wonderful family. They mean the world to me. I will load more pics in a few days...when we get done with inventory at work and I have five minutes.
Don't you love the cooks...a whole pig! And it was soooo good. Great times!

Measuring Wire

Yesterday we went into work at 5:00 a.m....I had to get up at 3:30 so I could shower and do my hair. We did get all the wire measured, ready for inventory this week. We'll start after work on Thursday. Jeff took us out for breakfast when we finished, and then he and I drove to Twin to see if that 5th wheel we like was still there. We looked at them agan, and it's my favorite. It's just soooo much money though. We're both having a hard time spending that kind of money right now. I would really like it, but I sure don't want to drain our savings to do it. I wish we knew where this economy is going. This country for that matter. It's a little scary for me.
Today Jason & Sally had a dinner to celebrate Whitney and Kyllie's birthday's. Whitney is six and on Tuesday Kyllie will be one. Mom rode up with us, and they had a nice dinner. Danelle & the kids came too, so I got to hold Ellie most of the time. Danelle brought me a CD of my birthday party, so I'll be able to post some pics tomorrow.

4th of July

Can you believe that it's July already? I can't. It seems like we just barely got through Christmas, and we're more than half way to the next one. I think we must be in the last days, because time is just screaming by.
Sunday was the birthday bash, and it was awesome. The kids got a whole roasted pig, had tons of salads, hot rolls, and sheet cake, which the grandkids insisted they put 60 candles on. I had to take three breaths to blow them all out. It's only fair though...they had them spread over three cakes. I think my mother told me there were 75 people there. The kids came down about an hour before the party, and brought me my birthday gift. A DVD they had made from photos. Dave's brother set it to music and it was great. Made me cry. I've watched it a couple of times, and I just love it. I have the BEST kids. Robin and the boys came down, my sis from Soda, Jeff's sister & husband from Utah, the Smuin's from Pocatello, and all the family that live here. It was great.
The week was a little hectic. Lynn and Darena were both on vacation and with a couple of plants going down for maintenance, we were airing things in all week. Next year I told Jeff we're taking this week off. We should get some kind of perks...
Today were taking a drive up to Driggs for a visit. I didn't like missing the parade, but since none of the kids come down for it anymore, I just didn't want to go alone. I was going to run up to Albion to watch Chelsey and Treven in their parade, but I called just before 10:00 and it started at 10:00...so another thing to miss today. Oh well!
I hope to get some photos from Danelle from my birthday party so I can post them. She said she took 200 photos at the Jones family reunion, and she wanted to out do that...hopefully there will be some good ones.
