baby shower invitation
I thought this was such a cute invitation to a baby shower that I couldn't resist sharing it. At the shower, they had a popcorn bar...I'd never seen that before, and even though I couldn't eat popcorn, it looked great. All kinds of spices and treats to jazz up your popcorn!

Fleece blankets
I purchased a rotary blade that cuts little holes along the edge of your fleece so that you can crochet around it...loved how it turned out.
This one, I tied in a different way than I've ever done before. I read that instead of knotting it along the edges (because it makes such a big one) you should cut small lines and then pull both pieces of the fleece through...Tried it, and it looked good, but not sure how it will stay when it's washed.
This one I put two pieces of fleece together and just used blanket binding. ok...nothing special, other than I thought the fleece was pretty cute.
I loved this plaid fleece...I put black on the back and tied it. Then blanket stitched around it. I quite liked it, and felt like a man could use it.
These were all donated for chemo kits. My friend Christy in Idaho Falls was trying to put together 50-65 of them for someone that was making the rest of the kit. I thought it was awesome.

Red/White/and Blue quilt
This is the second red/white and blue quilt that I've made, and I love them. I haven't quilted this one yet, but can't wait until I do. I think I'm going to love it!

Fall trip through Yost, Utah
These photos are from our first trip through Yost, around and back to Almo. Ken went with Jeff and I, and it was a little chilly but not too bad. It takes most of the day to make this trip. Probably about 70 miles or so.

Treven's birthday
Danelle and Gary had us up for dinner and to celebrate Treven's birthday just before we left on our trip. It was super fun...as always. Can't believe how grown up he's getting. Time just goes too fast!

Cram the Crib
In September, they asked the RS to "Cram the Crib". These donations were to be given to the Women's Shelter, humanitarian,...I'm not sure where everything went. But, I made a bunch of receiving blankets and four 9 patch scrap quilts. I only got two of them quilted before it was due though. I finished the other two and donated them to a boy scout who's eagle project was to collect 65 blankets to donate to several places. It was a nice way to use up scraps (I already had the blocks pieced) and even quilt batting since they weren't real large. When Merlynn took the two to the Boy Scout, she said...did you make these? They are beautiful"...nice to hear.

Last of our vacation photos
Yes...northern Idaho clear down through Weiser was thick with smoke. Especially Moscow (top photo) when we left that morning. It was crazy. We passed a couple of places that were full of tents and helicopters and firemen. We learned that after we passed Riggins they actually closed the road due to smoke. We were glad to get home even though we loved the trip!.
