Project Life Week 22

I had sooo many photos this week.  It was our week of vacation the end of May, and I think I took over 500 photos.  Crazy huh?  But, it sure was fun.

Project Life week 21

This was a pretty full week.  It was Mikayla's graduation.  Danelle had a Bar-B-Q for her on Sunday, and graduation was on Wednesday.  Lot's of fun though. 

Project Life Week 20

I'm totally amazed that I'm still trying to do Project Life.  AND I don't even hate it.  I'm still really enjoying it.  I'm still two weeks behind, but trying to catch up.  Just seems like I haven't had the time to work on crafts much lately.  But, I keep trying.
Janell gave me some cards to send to "From Our Hearts", an organization that collects handmade cards to send to the soldiers.  I like the way they do it...they send them to chaplains and then the soldiers go pick out what they want.  Cards have to be placed in clear envelopes with a paper that says who created it, where it's coming from, and the verse on the inside if there is one.
Janell hadn't put hers in clear envelopes or sorted them, and I had a bunch to send also, so I spent three days working on that.  We ended up with 285 cards that I sent off.  It's sort of rewarding knowing you're helping in some small way.  I know it isn't much, but it makes me feel pretty good.

I decided that I really liked the idea of giving a book of the kids' senior photos in it, along with a letter from each grandparent or g-grandparent.  I did this for Braquel when she graduated...mainly because that was the year I took the photoshop class from CSI and did it for my final project, but I loved the idea.  So, I did one for Lindsay and one for Mikayla this year.  This is Lindsay's, and I'll post Mikayla's next.  I actually got this posted in reverse order....so the top is the last pages.  Sorry.
Anyway, I loved how it turned out.
