I had always heard about Balance Rock, but did not realize there is actually a state park there, and it's gorgeous. Huge towering rock walls, with a creek running through it. It was beautiful when we were there and we thought we should go camp there sometime. Never did make it though...maybe 2017.
We actually took a drive so Jeff could show me all the places that he had been planting carrots. We started out closer to home and ended up clear down by the Nevada border. It was 79 miles one way from our home to where they were planting at the end. They had to move their equipment through the canyon above, which was pretty much one lane. They had to send someone through to block traffic while they brought machinery through. It was really a fun trip.
