April exchange card #1

I'm really not sure why I love these stamps, but I do.  I have quite a few now, and they always turn out to be my favorites.  Love the ladies (and a couple of men ones) and the sayings.  They are sort of sarcastic/funny.  I really liked how this one turned out!
The theme for the April exchange was to use a color combo that you found.  Loved this peach/turquoise/white/cream.

The King & I

Whitney performed in Minico's "The King and I" in March.  She was way excited when she started rehearsing, but like those things always go...she got tired of it by the end.  She was one of the children and did an excellent job.  Congrats!

Quilts that were ready

This photo is actually a little old, because I do believe I've quilted all of these now.  And...more.  I've really enjoyed making quilt tops this past winter and look forward to making more.  I told Jeff it's good for my brain.  Piecing quilts is as good as doing puzzles...so I won't get Alzheimer's.

Getting ready to head down to Southern Utah for 4-wheeling with Steve.  Went to Ticabo first, then up to Hanksville and Goblin Valley.

At Goblin Valley.  Camping overnight.

Robotic Competition

I'm really glad Chris & Taylor did robotics again this year. We had so much fun when we went two years ago, that we were excited to go again.  I didn't think the games they played this year were quite as much fun as the Frisbee toss though.  But, it was still way cool.  The atmosphere is always so cool...lots of loud music, kids dancing and carrying on together, and a huge audience.  It was way fun!  Appreciate the invite to attend.  Hope Taylor carries on since Chris is graduating this year.

Jeff's birthday

I made angel food cake for Jeff's birthday, and we invited everyone over.  It was very nice and we loved having everyone come.  Seems like I always get busy when everyone gets here and I don't get photos of the people...then when they leave I realize it.  I've got to get better at that.
