When Treven and Ellie were here sometime ago, I let them run things through the Cuttlebug to emboss them.  They have been laying on my crafting table, and I decided I should use them up with this theme.  I like how this one turned out.

The theme for April was to use embossing folders or stencils on a card.  This is the first one I made and I quite liked it.

Happy Birthday Layout

What could possibly make a birthday more special than sharing it with your family?  I love seeing them all and spending time with them.  Happiness really is family!

 

Christmas layout

Another layout I finished from the kits of the fall retreat.  I'm always glad to get caught up.  I still have a bunch of kits that I put together for this retreat (April) and I'll start working on those soon.  I mainly worked on my Project Life at the retreat.  I did 16 weeks worth.  I also managed to do 4 or 5 of the kits I took, but still have a bunch.

Ellie

I just don't know what we would do without this little angel that came into our lives pretty unexpectedly.  Danelle and Gary had decided they were finished with their family when they finally got a boy...but...they had a "surprise" that couldn't be more loved.  She is just the joy of my life.  When she sees me and holler's "Grandma"....I just melt.  We kept her a while back (she was three at this time) and she really didn't feel very well (just look at her eyes in the pictures and you can see that) , but she changed clothes, posed, and smiled for me anyway.  What a girl!

Wedding Shower layout

I was able to finish several layouts ( I had the kits made for our fall retreat) before our April retreat.  I'm just getting around to posting photos of them though. 
This layout details the shower for Braquel that was held in Albion.  Danelle and the girls did such cute decorations and treats...It was an awesome party!
