June exchange card #2

This was a free stamp set that came with Cardmaking Magazine a few months ago.  I don't usually use them too often, but thought this was a cute one.  I can use it for "little" girl birthday cards.  In fact, I've almost blown through the ones that I made to keep already.

June exchange card #1

I love this stamp, and I even embossed it so the raccoon would show up better, but it still looks pretty dark.  I do like them though.

Another quilt

This is the second baby quilt that I did on our quilting machine.  It's getting a little easier now...I finished this up and took it to the family auction.  Loving the machine!

Quilts

I can't remember if I mentioned that one of the ladies that goes 4-wheeling with us sometimes, makes quilts.  When she found out that I did too, she wanted to come out and see them.  I never get all the quilts I've made down from that really, really tall closet, but Jeff brought in the ladder for me, and I got them down to show them off to her.  I spread them over the couch, chair, and love seat in the living room.  And the two in the bedroom. (the pickup one, and the trip around the world).  No close up of those two.
The cool thing is, I discovered I actually had two more made than I thought!  Only about 10-12 to go!

Dish towels for the family auction

I got the pattern for these Christmas dish towels from the Gathering Place in Rupert....let's hear it for the Gathering Place...one of my favorite places to spend time just looking around!
I loved these.

Janell and Leslie's projects

Yup...this is the youngest sister in the group and she has a lot of attitude...She seemed to think we should all sand, paint, glitter, whatever it took to finish her projects while she sat and read...what's wrong with this picture?  Well, she is the "baby" of the family I guess...what do you expect.  We all take care of her!

The bird houses and the owl were wood projects that mom bought for Leslie as a birthday gift.  She got them all finished while we were at the retreat.  And that folks...is the end of the wood projects we did while in SLC.  It was a fun weekend for all of us.  Including that box of crackers that got spilled in our "new" truck on the way home...um....don't tell Jeff!

St. Patrick's Day

This was the last set of things I made at our Sister's Retreat.  I've had these for a couple of years and finally finished them up.  Tomorrow I'll share the wood things we made for Janell...all while she sat and read...um...

This was another set of wood shadow box items that I made for the family auction while we were in SLC for our sister's retreat.  More tomorrow!

June shadow box items

Shadow box items for the month of June from Wood Connections

I loved how these turned out.  I made them for the family auction, thinking that Janell would purchase them for her wall, but I believe Brittney actually ended up with them.
More tomorrow!
